MISSION STATEMENT
To KNOW the love and compassion of Christ.

PURPOSE
The purpose of the Children’s Ministry at Lansdowne Chinese Baptist Church is to provide a quality atmosphere of growth
and development for children of all ages by:
- Providing positive role models for children to follow.
- Offering exciting opportunities to learn about God’s Word.
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment where children
are accepted and loved.
- Conducting weekly programs and activities, and special events.
- Training adults to lead, disciple, teach and counsel children.
- Involving children in the ministry of the whole church.
SUNDAY SCHOOL (Preschool – Grade 6)
Classes run from 9:30am to 10:30am during the English Service and Chinese Adult Sunday School. These classes provide a small group and personal environment for children to learn basic principles in a more traditional Sunday School environment.
CHILDREN’S WORSHIP (Nursery – Grade 6)
This is a celebration time of music, prayer, listening, learning and laughing. A dedicated
Worship and Drama Team present songs, skits, puppet shows and other entertaining methods to lead the children in praise
and worship time. During class time, teachers use a variety
of age-appropriate methods, materials, activities and curriculum
to communicate God’s Word to the children. There is a particular emphasis on life-application of biblical principles and lessons.
